"CS Gladiator" – the first adaptive sports team for veterans in Zakarpattia.
In January 2025, the first team of war veterans and wounded service members focused on developing adaptive sports was established in Zakarpattia region.
The "CS Gladiator" team was formed based on Carpathian Sich and the Veteran Hub. Training sessions started in February, and the team began actively participating in sports events. The team unites 28 members — war veterans who, despite their injuries, support each other, train, do sports, and invite other military personnel to join the team. To this end, team members visit hospitals in Zakarpattia, communicate with military personnel undergoing treatment, motivate them by their example, and encourage them to join the team. The main goal is the physical and psychological recovery of veterans, creating a space where everyone can find support, new motivation, and friends.
The "CS Gladiator" team is a community that gives veterans the opportunity to stay active and strong despite everything they have been through.
